Today we will be continuing my story of meeting Riley Clemmons on December 11, 2022!

“On the first Christmas
When all was at peace

After a few moments of sitting at the table, sipping my water and talking to a girl, Riley, Chris and a few of her band mates walk up, and I am in head-over-heels excited! The girl sitting across from me says, “You go first!” And so I get up, walk over to Riley and she says to me, “Hi!” The first thing I say to her is, “do you remember me?” “Of course I do’ hii! Liv, right?” I responded, “yes!” In excitement she says, “LIV!!!” And embraces me with the biggest hug! It was warm, ya’ll! 😂 I give her some gifts and she was so appreciative!! And so we stop hugging she says to me, “do you want a picture? Do you want me to sign anything?” She was the sweetest thing!! My heart. She signed my hat and my shirt. We take the photo and I say to her, “I feel like I’m hugging my older sister!” I then say to her, “can I get a video of you for my friend, Priya?” She says, “yes!” This is what she says! “Hi Priya, I’m hanging with your friend!! We love you and we miss you! *blows kiss, waves with two hands* Merry Christmas!” And as I’m leaving, she says to me, “it was so nice to meet you.” I go downstairs and I tell my parents all about it! How sweet she was, how beautiful she was! Everything good!!! I then sat at the table with my parents and ate some unhealthy, greasy, but delicious food! And before the show starts, there is a person playing and singing some songs. But then about 6:00-6:10, Riley comes out and I’m just in awe of her! She starts to sing. I then shortly go up to the balcony where my assigned place is! I can’t remember what the song orders were, but I got up there and she started singing “Fighting For Me” and let me tell you how good my God is! I’m standing over the balcony and as Riley sings these words; “you will stop fighting for me/you are my strength when my faith is weak/you’re always by side” I felt the Lord say to me, “Liv , I’m fighting for you. I’m beside you and I’m for you!” Y’all, my face flooded, like FLOODED with tears of gratitude! It just made it so special to me to be in a room full of believers, at a Christian concert! Whatever happened that night, to whom, God had His full hand in! Then she soon sang, “The First Christmas” and ugh, the speech that was before she sang it was breathtaking! So beautiful. I can’t remember everything she said. But she said something about remembering who this Christmas is about, whether you lost someone or not, but this Christmas is one you’ll never forget because God made you believe in it again! “This is the first Christmas” Riley says and starts singing it! Then for the closing song, she sings “For The Good!” And I just worshipped with everything in me! I believed that God is going to use my brokenness for THE GOOD!!! She says to the crowd, “do you believe it?” The whole crowd shouts “I BELIEVE IT” including me. Oh, it felt so good!!! The sound of declaring God’s goodness in your life is unexplainable! I will declare my God as my Savior and Lord! Part three tomorrow! ❤️
